Welcome to LC Smokehouse ! We are passionate about authentic American BBQ “low and slow” that we associate with local Indonesian flavors in our sides and sauces.
All our meats are smoked on-site, hand rubbed with spices, and take up to 12 hours of slow cooking in our unique wood smoker.
OUR STORY
We are a family BBQ smokehouse owned by Marion and Tyo, a multicultural chefs couple.
Tyo is an indonesian chef who studied in Le Cordon Bleu Sydney for 3 years.
In Australia, he meets Marion, a french chef who travels to gain more experience after her studies in the best gastronomic school in Paris and her job in one of the most prestigious 3 Michelin stars in Paris.
Together they work in the biggest hotels of Sydney and several restaurants in Australia. While Marion is honing her skills in a hatted gastronomic restaurant, Tyo discovers his passion for the american smoked barbecue and quits his job to enter a multi awarded BBQ restaurant in Melbourne’s region. He quickly gains responsibilities as a pitmaster . A while after they decide to get married and start together LC Smokehouse in Jakarta, the temple of smoked american BBQ with local flavors in the country.
